A Class Act

Jeff James and Jessica Cox received good news – twice – from Division III of the Washington Court of Appeals in a class action brought by former employees who were separated from employment based on their refusal to get vaccinated against COVID-19 during the pandemic.  Jeff originally obtained an order from the trial court dismissing with prejudice the plaintiffs’ claims for failure to accommodate and wrongful discharge in violation of public policy.  When the plaintiffs appealed, Jeff and Jessica prevailed first on appeal, and again when the Court of Appeals denied plaintiffs’ motion for reconsideration, finally ending this chapter in our client’s favor.
