After an employee quit to join a competitor, taking with him the client’s trade secrets and confidential information, Associate Matt Kelly and Managing Shareholder Jeff James jumped in to help fix things. It was not easy or quick, but in the end they were able to connect the evidentiary dots in a way that lead to the entry of a permanent injunction against the defendant prohibiting the use or disclosure of our client’s data and an order that the defendant pay our client damages. Further, the defendant was ordered to cooperate in the forensic recovery of our client’s data from the defendant’s devices and cloud-based storage accounts.
