On June 10, 2015, the trial team of Jeff James, Nate Bailey, and Christy Kirchmeier obtained a unanimous defense verdict on all counts in the matter of Washington v. Group Health Cooperative, King County Superior Court Case No. 13-2-19841-0. Plaintiff Victor T. Washington was represented by David Black. Plaintiff was terminated during his probationary period for being argumentative and not following established policies. He claimed his termination was the result of disability discrimination and for requesting reasonable accommodation. It took more two years for the case to finally make it to trial. We are grateful for the confidence our client, Group Health Cooperative, placed in our law firm and our ability to successfully try this case.
