Now that the pandemic is largely behind us, we can look back on client “successes” in battling COVID-19 and legal actions that were brought by unvaccinated employees. Jeff James and Christy Kirchmeier teamed up to obtain dismissal of dozens of EEOC Charges alleging failure to accommodate religious, political, and ideological opposition to the COVID-19 vaccine. Jeff and Jennifer Hohnstein likewise teamed up to obtain dismissal of a multi-plaintiff action involving claims for wrongful discharge in violation of public policy claims brought by unvaccinated healthcare workers.
