SBJ Shareholder Darren Feider will lead a workshop on the recently enacted Paid Family and Medical Leave law for the State of Washington, which will be funded by employee and employer contributions starting in 2019 and up and running in 2020. The new law will provide up to 12 weeks of paid family leave for employees for certain family and medical issues. Washington State becomes the fifth state to adopt a paid family and medical leave program after California, New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island. The seminar will take place at the Education Center for the Western Washington Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors on December 11, 2018 from 11am until 12:30pm
