Shareholder Jeff James has been invited to speak at the American Bar Association Employee Rights and Responsibility (ERR) Midwinter meeting on March 20, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jeff will be the management speaker on a panel including union, plaintiff, and government representatives. The presentation, titled “Arbitration in an Epic World” will focus on the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark decision, Epic Systems v. Lewis and its impact on mandatory arbitration agreements and class action waivers. In addition to speaking on the panel, Jeff will be serving as the management co-chair of the ERR Trial and Appellate Advocacy subcommittee.
