Mark Busto and Brian Flock Receive “No Reasonable Cause” Finding From Washington State Human Rights Commission

Mark Busto and Brian Flock recently received a “No Reasonable Cause” finding from the Washington State Human Rights Commission (WSHRC), dismissing a charge of alleged pregnancy discrimination. The former employee who filed the charge alleged that a co-worker and supervisor perceived her as being pregnant (when, in fact, she was not), and that she was discharged on that basis. Thankfully, the WSHRC sided with the family-friendly employer and agreed that the employer had discharged the employee for her inability to do her job, not on the basis of any perceived pregnancy.
