Jeff James has wrapped up another tour of duty reviewing and revising the Washington Practice Instructions, or “WPI’s” as they are commonly referred to by courts and counsel. For over ten years Jeff has served on a blue-ribbon panel whose task is to review and update the WPIs used as model jury instructions in employment law trials. The subcommittee met virtually for the past year to update the employment law instructions, and their modifications were approved by the larger WPI committee last week for presentation to the state Supreme Court for final approval.
