Jeff James and Jennifer Parda celebrated the finality to their successful defense through the state’s appellate process of a pro se plaintiff’s effort to sue our client and a number of its current and former officers and managers. After obtaining dismissal of the claims in the trial court, the plaintiff appealed to the Court of Appeals, where Jeff and Jennifer prevailed again. Undeterred, the plaintiff unsuccessfully sought review of that decision by the Washington State Supreme Court, which sent the matter back to the Court of Appeals. At long last, the Court of Appeals has issued its Mandate terminating appellate review and paving the way for the trial court to dismiss the plaintiff’s complaint, once and for all, more than three years after he commenced the lawsuit.
