On June 29, 2016, the Washington State Supreme Court denied the plaintiffs’ petition for discretionary review in Lodis v. Corbis Holdings, Inc. In so ruling, the Court shut the book on a lawsuit that spanned eight years, including three trials and two published decisions by the Court of Appeals, Lodis I, 172 Wn. App. 835 (2013) and Lodis II, 192 Wn. App. 30 (2015) (see below for prior write ups of these trials and appeals). While we regret it took so long for our client to ultimately obtain justice, we are very pleased that they prevailed at every step of the way and can now put this experience behind them.
